Humanity Health Professional Training Center (HHPTC) is based in Yaoundé, Cameroon and hasas mandate to train and prepare competent para-medical professionals to tackle the quasi-totality of health problems; this is in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and also, we are in partnership with the: “Association Cameroonaise pour le Marketing Social (ACMS)” to promote reproductive health and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to implement HIV/AIDS Prevention Programs. The studies will alternate between theory and practical (theory-practice-theory). The Ministry of Public Health has officially granted four (04) health centers which now serve as research/internship/practical centers. These centers do consult, diagnose, treat and admit patients.

This training program is aimed at enhancing the professionalization of the educational system in Cameroon, fighting against quackery in the health sector and to fill the gap resulting from shortage of well-trained para-clinical health personnel. Experience has shown that most health structures in Cameroon have a problem with accuracy, specificity, and reproducibility of laboratory results leading to poor disease control and surveillance.
Most laboratory personnel leave the country in search of better working conditions in developed countries so HHPTC in Cameroon is a step in the right direction to solving the problem of brain drain.
HHPTC trains health personnel who provide solutions to problems of doubtful diagnosis through partial automation which reduces subjectivity and human error.
Students receive state-of-the-arts standard operating procedures through meticulous preparation of detailed step-wise processes and techniques of performing all procedures to ensure uniformity, consistency and diagnostic controls.
